♫ Giving my all to you (Yes, I will)
Nothing else will do (Nothing else will do, I’ll be)
Giving my all to you today (You today)…♫

I am duly honoured to be named to the Board of Directors of the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada for a 3 year term.

The SDRCC is a not-for-profit corporation created by federal legislation and funded by the Government of Canada. The mission of the SDRCC is to provide the sport community with a national alternative dispute resolution service and strengthen the culture of fairness in Canadian sport by resolving disputes quickly and efficiently and to provide expertise and assistance regarding alternative dispute resolution.

According to David de Vlieger, Chair of the Board of Directors of the SDRCC, I am joining “a team determined to bring the SDRCC to the forefront of alternative dispute resolution in sport, in Canada and abroad.”

It will be a most interesting and engaging challenge to continue the leadership role that the SDRCC has crafted by applying technology and legal dispute resolution to the sport community in Canada to help prevent and resolve disputes at the highest levels of the Canadian sport system. I look forward to working with David de Vlieger, Marie-Claude Asselin, Chief Executive Officer and the rest of the Board and staff at the SDRCC.

One thing is certain.  I will be giving this new appointment my all – nothing else will do.
